A wave of political awakening and grassroots mobilization swept across Epe as hundreds of enthusiastic youths and supporters participated in the 2027 Epe Constituency I Youths Renewed Hope Fitness Walk organized in support of President Bola Tinubu, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Olusegun Agbaje.
The colorful and energetic walk, which attracted residents, community stakeholders, artisans, students, market leaders, and political supporters from different parts of Epe Constituency I, has been described as a strong statement by the people demanding fairness, equity, and genuine progress in the constituency.
The event quickly transformed into a massive organic endorsement movement as participants openly declared their rejection of any alleged attempt to impose a 5th term agenda in the Lagos State House of Assembly representation for Epe Constituency I.
Chants of solidarity, unity, and “O To Ge!” echoed through major roads in Epe as supporters insisted that leadership should not become a permanent occupation for a selected few.
According to many of the youths present, Epe deserves fresh faces, fresh ideas, new energy, and visionary leadership capable of bringing inclusive development and accountable representation to the people.
Participants stressed that the growing support for Hon. Olusegun Agbaje reflects the true desires of the grassroots and the increasing demand for a new generation of leaders who will serve with sincerity, transparency, and commitment to the welfare of the people.
Speaking during the exercise, supporters encouraged all true lovers of Epe to join the movement for positive change and people-oriented representation ahead of the 2027 elections.
They maintained that the voices of the people must be respected, adding that the era of prolonged political dominance must give way to fairness, equity, and democratic inclusion.
The peaceful fitness walk further showcased the political consciousness and determination of Epe youths to actively shape the future of their constituency through unity and collective action.
As momentum continues to build across the constituency, one message remained loud and clear throughout the gathering:
