A tragic incident has been reported in Epe, Lagos State, following the alleged stabbing of a student of Ogunmodede Senior College on Ojewunmi Street, Papa area of Epe on Wednesday night.
According to preliminary reports, the victim, identified as a student of the school, reportedly lost his life after sustaining stab injuries during the incident. The unfortunate development has thrown the local community and schoolmates into mourning.
Sources confirmed that the suspect, identified as Emmanuel, has been taken into custody alongside his father by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command and is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department Panti for further investigation.
The remains of the deceased student have reportedly been deposited at a mortuary in Ijebu Ode.
Authorities are expected to continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident, while the outcome of the ongoing interrogation at the State CID is anticipated.
