IBEJU-LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMMENCE FREE 2026 JAMB REGISTRATION INITIATIVE FOR YOUTHS.

 



The Administration of Hon. Engr, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju‑Lekki Local Government, has unveiled a strategic educational support initiative aimed at empowering youths across the Local Government through the provision of free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).


This intervention is designed to ease the financial burden associated with JAMB registration and to promote broader access to tertiary education for qualified and students within the Community. By removing cost barriers, the Local Government seeks to create a more inclusive pathway for academic advancement and future career opportunities.


Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Engr, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa reaffirmed his Administration’s commitment to youth development, educational advancement and human capital growth in Ibeju-Lekki. He emphasized that investing in education remains a critical pillar of sustainable Community development and long-term Economic empowerment.


The programme aligns with the administration’s broader vision of equipping young people with the tools, opportunities and support systems necessary to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
