A wave of excitement and renewed hope swept across Epe Division as students gathered to witness the historic inauguration of new national leaders of the Federation of Epe Division Students Association (FEDSA).
In a keenly contested election conducted by the FEDSA National Independent Electoral Commission on January 4, 2026, Comrade Asorobi Kazeem Damilare emerged as the duly elected National President, securing 6 votes to defeat Bakre Isreal Boluwatife, who polled 4 votes. His inauguration was met with resounding applause from delegates, stakeholders, and members of the association.
Adding to the historic significance of the event, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Rukayat was inaugurated as the first-ever National Speaker of FEDSA, marking a new structural milestone in the association’s leadership framework.

The ceremony also saw the swearing-in of other key members of the executive council:

- Ariyo Rhoda Opeyemi – General Secretary
- Shittu Habeeb Olumuyiwa – Financial Secretary

- Oresanwo Moridiyat Modupe – Welfare Director
- Shabi Maryam Ajoke – Social Director

In his acceptance remarks, President Asorobi expressed heartfelt appreciation to members for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to lead with integrity, unity, and an unwavering commitment to advancing the welfare, academic excellence, and socio-developmental interests of students across Epe Division.
“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every student in Epe Division. Together, we will build a stronger, more united and impactful FEDSA,” he stated.
