The leadership of the National Female Student Association of Nigeria (NFSAN), Lagos Chapter, under the able leadership of Comrade Wasiu Nofisat Mojisola, has expressed profound appreciation to the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) for granting the association a warm and impactful audience.
During the visit, the delegation lauded the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to fostering a safer, more inclusive society for women, while advancing sustainable initiatives aimed at poverty eradication and economic empowerment. The association acknowledged the Ministry’s consistent efforts in addressing issues affecting women, particularly female students and the girl-child, across Lagos State and beyond.
In recognition of these remarkable contributions, NFSAN Lagos proudly presented an honorary award to the Honourable Commissioner. The award, according to the association, symbolizes more than appreciation—it reflects a deep acknowledgment of the Commissioner’s dedication, visionary leadership, and proactive approach to policies that uplift and protect women.
