EREDO LCDA PARTNERS ATLANTIC HALL SCHOOL FOR FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH, BOOSTS COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE

Residents of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) received a major boost in community healthcare as the council, in partnership with Atlantic Hall School, Poka, organized a free medical outreach aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of the people.

The outreach, held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, was facilitated by the Eredo LCDA administration under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, as part of ongoing efforts to bring essential healthcare services closer to residents at the grassroots level.

The medical outreach provided a wide range of free health services to community members, including blood sugar and blood pressure checks, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, free eye examinations, medical consultations and counseling, as well as the distribution of free medications to beneficiaries.

Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Akinloye expressed appreciation to the leadership and management of Atlantic Hall School, Poka for collaborating with the council to improve access to quality healthcare for residents. He described the partnership as a commendable step toward strengthening community wellbeing and preventive healthcare.

The council chairman also commended the Supervisor for Health, Mrs. Odudolapo Odufisan, and the entire health team for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring the successful organization of the outreach. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their service, noting that the reward for good work is more work.

According to him, the outreach reflects the administration’s strong commitment to prioritizing the health needs of the people and ensuring that residents have access to essential medical care without financial barriers.

The Akinloye-led administration reaffirmed its dedication to implementing people-centered health initiatives and fostering strategic partnerships that will continue to improve the overall wellbeing of residents across Eredo LCDA.
